Red face My dark NoID and a cat's nose...

I was trying to document the wonderful deepening of the colours on my dark NoID, which has occured after the re-poting, when Prillan decided that she wanted to check it too.

The picture got so darn cute I just had to share it. Imagine how great it would have been with a better camera!

With the white/cream background, that's a great photo!! I think this pic deserves to be your avatar pic! Is this one of the 4 small Phals you got last week?

Thanks guys for the sweet comments. I love this picture myself and it's just a lucky shot! For once the focus cooperated with me and focused where I wanted it to instead of an imaginary speck of dirt in the background, and also Prillan stood relatively still for once! Otherwise it's usually Pelle who knows what to do as soon as I take out the camera while Prillan is busy trying to stand on her ears...

You know, that's an excellent suggestion! I'll definitely make it my avatar since I like it so much.

No, it's my 'Black Jack' look alike. The flowers on the smaller Phals are even smaller than these are.

Fantastic shot! I'm amazed (and jealous) that your cats leave your orchids alone. If I were to catch a pic of one of my boys with an orchid it would be a picture of a lovely orchid in its last seconds before kitty teeth chomp down on it. I have to close the door to my guest room (where I grow under lights) to keep the boys away. If the door is open for a second, one or all 3 squeeze in and head straight for either foliage or blooms.
