NYCOrchid. See my example here that is quite similar to the photo example show. Some of these have been more thick than others. I got lucky as mine was a nice thick keyhole example.

By the way, unfortunately, now it says this plant is unavailable on orchidweb.

this spike started out looking like a keiki - its got 3 smaller leaves up the spike - and then suddenly developed a bloom. Any other spike died off. This does have a scent, but not that noticeable. Lets just say I wouldn't get it for the scent alone. I was hoping for a keiki as the rest of the leaves are looking dismal.

The red is very much saturated on that one.

Sorry to hear the trouble.

Why don't you try keiki paste since the plant seems going downhill anyways??

I don't have a problem with marked leaves. If it keiki's it keiki's...I have a cross that I made that is ready for collection too.
