Phal. Orchid World 'Bonnie Vasquez'
These two flowers bloomed from last years spike. This cross can rebloom on the same spike for up to four years, I've been told. I haven't seen the begining of a new spike this year. I'm hoping I'll get one. It's also fragrant but I'm not too fond of the fragrance.

Those 2 lower petals almost look they were pressed together to get that pattern. Unique looking, I think I like it.

How beautiful!! And that's a really nice photo of it. I think it's one of my favorite phals, but since it doesn't seem to exist over here I get to enjoy it through every one's photos instead!

I looked for this cross for over a year after reading about it in the book 'Moth Orchids'. I finally found it at the Redlands Orchid Festival. It's a decent one but I've seen much better examples.

Yeah, but an orchid is tough to find, you'll settle with what you can get! Who knows, you may find a better one later on.

Yup stolen! In the summer I grow most of my chids outside. One night when I wasn't home, that plant and many others just vanished. Pooph! I think my neighbor (who always oh'd and ah'd over them) was the culprit but couldn't say for sure. I've since moved and any valuable plants now summer indoors!
