Dpts. Liu's Triprince Red
Well, it finally happened today. One of the buds opened. I figured the first few are going to be messed up as I was moving them around a lot to get optimal light until I got a growing light. Still, its a really pretty bloom and so tiny its cute.
Full plant only stands about 3" tall, inflorenscenses are about 6" tall and the flowers are maybe an inch across. Really lovely spotting in the throat and I just love the red in it. Just a great flower really.
Sorry about the rotation. Photobucket is showing them correct for me and then I link and they are rotated. Ill figure it out later.

There are more. It really sucks that the blooms are twisted as another one opened today and its literally flipped 180 degrees. Oh well, like I said, hopefully it will be able get straight blooms after growing a year under the lights.

Well, I had some bud blast. We went away for a weekend and my wife turned down the thermostat to 55 without me knowing. The inflorescences have also been stunted. Its the first blooming for the plant so Im not too upset with it.
All in all, it came out with 7 flowers.
Also, it has a very faint rose fragrance to it.
