I finally saw a noid phal at a local store that I just had to have. It's a miniature and looks to be in great condition.

It looks very nice. I have a hard time resisting NoIDs at our local stores - just got one yesterday at Home Depot. Have fun growing.

Fishmommy, gotta say i love that name. Your Chid come from Costa Farms by chance? They seem to supply alot to the bigbox stores and them some. Anyway, i might have that one and i think i got a tag with it somehow. So if you want i could look it up. Anyway, i do love the mini's whatever they may be and good luck with yours. Have fun

How cute, the blooms are very nice. I also have a hard time resisting noids in stores, although I'm getting better about it now.
I never get any minis since most are going to grow into full sized plants. Growers shoot them up with hormones and growth regulators to keep them small.

Thumbs up

Hi,
Nice plant! I have one that looks exactly like yours (size & flower) that has been blooming since the beginning of December. It ended up having 10 blooms and the end of the spike is forming more buds. I bought mine at a grocery store about two years ago; this is its second blooming. Very vigorous plant. I know the suspense is killing you; my plant came with a name: Phal Sogo Vivien. So yours is a noid no more!
