Hope that clears it up for you

Love the blooms on yours, very nice!

I have a question then, I looked up the parents, how did they get such a pristine white offspring????

It really annoys me when people make crosses that are going to end up being aneuploid!!! At least they clarify that it will be.

First off, the picture of that Timothy Christopher is most likely mislabeled, as all pictures I found of it were white, and the parentage is ([equestris x stuartiana] x aphrodite), which means it should not have a colour anywhere near that picture, unless the Cassandra was 4n. Here is one such Timothy Christopher that I found on the internet. (Which is clearly a picture from Paramount Orchids, just to cover my behind)

Secondly, Phal. micholitzii, which is a parent of Gelblieber, which is (amboinensis x micholitzii) is known to suppress colours, which makes this kind of colour possible.

Phals certainly are a fun group to breed with!!!

Wow, the breeding aspect of these guys are fascinating! And it is crazy that there is, so much, incorrect information out there. It makes it hard on those of us who are just starting out. Thank goodness for this forum, it helps keep these things straight. Thanks for the help!
