I-Hsin Picture, Linda Cheok, and Su's Milk Puff
Some recent blooms in the basement setup. Two primaries, Linda Cheok (mannii x equestris) and Su's Milk Puff (Tetraspis C1 x pallens), and a really cool hybrid.
FYI, the Linda Cheok is probably wildly different from the photo, but as you can see, the spike got all twisted for some reason (probably my environment). Hopefully the blooms will flatten out.

Very nice blooms! Wonder what caused that spike to twist like that!

I LOVE primary hybrids!! Especially ones with equestris. I hope the shape improves.
I don't think the twisted spike is due to environmental factors. Looks more like a genetic mishaps, or something that would be caused by chemicals. I also saw something similar on the tip of an equestris spike damaged by mealies. But it didn't look like a healthy spike tip like yours is, and it didn't spiral like that.

Thanks everyone. I have to agree, three is better than one.
Camille, I thought environment because of this story: Bought it from Al's Orchid Greenhouse (not to encourage anyone's addictions...). It was shipped in probably mid-spike, that of course promptly stalled, either from shipping or my conditions or both. Then the spike restarted in a toward the ceiling direction, and then started this spiral thing. It's been really crazy. But, a newer spike emerged in the last month or so, and it's doing much better, so I'm hopefully the form will improve. Anyway, have a good one everybody.
