Phal. Lou-Paula
Very pleased to add this to my collection, A mottled leaf Phal. I have been looking for one for awhile now and I won this one from our local Orchid Society. A cross by one of our Melbourne growers. I'l probably have to call him to find out what color the flowers will be. It didn't matter, I just wanted it for the leaves, but it has a nice spike....(a bonus)

Certainly a very healthy looking plant. I would think from the foliage that it has Phal. schilleriana or stuartiana somewhere in the parentage. I once had a Phal. schilleriana with over 100 flowers on 6 branched stems, so these can be quit spectacular when they bloom.
Good luck.

The IOR says that Phal. Lou-Paula, was made and registered by J. Grezaffi in 1993, and the parents are (Spanish Rose x Mi Cha). Spanish Rose= (Rosa Neibla x Meteor), and Mi Cha= (Chuck Hagan x Calza).

It's 28% schillie, and only 2% stuartiana with a bunch of other pinks and whites in the mix as well. Love the foliage!
