Phalaenopsis Sogo Yukidian (Phal. Sogo Yukidian) in bloom

This pot is a bit pricy because it just newly came out of the market....don't worry, it will also be very affordable soon.
I was given five of these in different colors to try.... It pays to shop and run errands for rich loyal friends.... I am endorsing it. It is making my plants happy and it is very clean, convenient and easy to use.

I follow the Baker Phalaenopsis culture ....so far it is guiding me well.
I just adjusted some low temperature and longer light periods just for this Sogo orchid and I am getting very good results. By looking at how I managed to bloom a keiki to this beauty now....

I have a v3. I would think if it doesn't say that it's a v3 on the tag, then it's not a v3! Lovely blooms!

I was reading that this particular phal is more tolerant of higher light than other phals, but do you feel that it needs that extra light to thrive? I've got lighting set up for my phals for the winter and was planning to move my v3 to the office where my other phals are in a couple of weeks after I cut the spike this weekend. I'm really looking forward to reblooming this one and I have a feeling that mine will bloom for me again next year. I usually like a lot more color, but something about that huge white bloom just makes me smile.

I've been thinking about getting a carousel pot as well. I wasn't sure about it until I saw your pics, I thought they looked kind of cheesy, but the clear one is actually really pretty.

You are right, I give this one level higher light =I give this plant the same light my Cattleyas get....and longer periods of daylight than nigh times to give me longer spikes and lower temperatures in its blooming phase to give me more than one spike lesser nitrogen on the fertilizer to give me bigger flatter flowers.
The carousel pot is not only for its aesthetics but for its usefulness. The aeration of the roots is very important its like it has pot holes all around it, the roots adjust to the malleability of the plastic spikes all over and it maintains cleanliness no algae can fester and the moisture is kept within the media....it is very efficient. I totally endorse it.

I am madly in love with white orchids and on the plus side this has a light musky fragrance ....I often see this orchid on the window panes of flower shops and I always stop and look....but they can be very pricy and I cant afford it. I was lucky to get a near blooming keiki from a vendor at the Japanese town for a song; almost giving it away....and I was able to make it flower, then now make it rebloom.

Really beautiful Bud, I love love white Phals, in my eyes they are just gorgeous and the most elegant, so pure. I got one phal noid long time ago, it is huge plant by now, the biggest Phal I have, and it blooms every year with multiple spikes with huge white blooms, they do look very close to yours but I have no idea if I do actually have the same or similar plant. It was a gift and I would appreciate help with ID'ing it somehow. I deleted by the mistake the file with my blooming orchid pics so I have only this one picture now.

Post a full picture of the plant, the roots and leaves will tell us a lot of clues....if you look at my Phalaenopsis Dutch Lady; your flower picture also looks similar to it...

Many thanks, here is the pic of the plant. It has really gorgeous blooms, and they do look like yours, that's why I actually did ask, It was a gift, and I have this Phal for some 6 years, it grew to super size plant and it really blooms with many spikes every year, it also shoots roots like crazy and actually I did see today that there is new keiki starting to from from the crown part as well. I just did not expect this would be some kind of more rare Phal but who knows, it was a gift.
