I have this one too Dave! I just purchased it recently so I'm not sure what the color will be but I'm so excited to see what yours looks like! Very pretty. I wish my home depot sold orchids like that too! Mine hasn't even sold any kind of orchid in at least a year. Not fair!

Hi Sarah, You can't beat there prices I paid 10.00 for that plant and NO SHIPPING. So I was asking the Outside Garden manager at Home Depot and he suggested that you go the the service desk and ask to talk to the store manager and request that they stock orchids as you are a regular customer and that other H-D's have them. And he told me that you should do it every time you go, presistents pays. But of course it may be availably issue. Good luck!

Dave, thank you so much for that information! I will definately do that. They used to sell a lot of them a few years back. Thats where I purchased most of my first orchids. Now they don't carry them at all and when I asked about a year ago they said they won't be getting more in. Now I think I will start bugging them a little. Thanks for the great advice!

That is so pretty! I never see anything at my home depot except tables and tables of HUGE white "classic" phals. You know, those ones with a gazillion big round flowers? They never have anything interesting... sigh...

Impressive find...especially at The Home Depot...I have found that their selection is sometimes pretty good and at other times VERY questionable. To be honest I think that it just depends on the store and the people handling the chids.

I love that little plant, It hasn't stopped blooming. The flowers last and last, the buds are slow to open.

Great find, Dave! Our Home Depots don't carry anything like that either. I've recently acquired a little compot labelled Dtps. pulcherrima v. chumpornensis. There are about a dozen plants but they are still very small. I hope I can keep them growing and that some of them turn out to be as lovely as yours.
