Default A very interestingly deformed flower on white phal.

So, I got this new white phal last weekend. It has two spikes and one of them is branching nicely, so it looked too good to pass

After I brought it home, I found one of the many flowers had this very strange shape.
It looks as if the main flower gave a birth to two extra flowers. How odd!

I'm posting some more pictures of yellow/pink stripe phal I got on the same day. I like how many flowers they are bearing!

Thank you, I know, right? I couldn't pass them up and they were only 20 or something each at a farmer's market. I love what I can find at farmer's market.

Thing is the second time they flower under my care, the bloom count normally reduces down to about half or so.
I think maybe it's the lower humidity because I think I provide them great care other than low humidity which I cannot qiute keep up to an ideal level.
I don't want paint come off the wall and furniture fall apart just to keep plants happier

Me neither. I've heard and seen peloric form on some cattleys and dendrobiums where the lip is transformed into a regular petal.
This is quite something I guess!

Unfortunately the plant is in not so great condition. I just bought it for the nice flower show it carries.

It is basically a conjoined twin. I've seen a few of these posted, but never one in real life. Probably won't happen next flowering.
