Oh, sounds great! I hope you had a nice time off.
I think I'm going on a vacation soon. I'm thinking of Hawaii and then end up visiting some orchid nurseries and bring back lots of cuties.
This is the first orchid that bloomed again with the same number of flowers as when first bought. usually orchids tend to have less flower counts under my care. well, it's less than ideal so what can I say?
The older spike grew longer and longer producing more and more flowers, but then I just got too tired and it seemed to have a short break, so I just cut it off.
This new spike started to come out before I cut off the old one. it started out quite skinny so I thought I would have just a few, but it has 9!
The spike is still vey skinny at the base and then thicker throughout the rest, yet requires no staking.
I see this same mini phal at grocery stores around the city now, and some are larger with more flowers.
I like this one because it does so well here. no sign of new leaf yet but new roots got going.
