You know its funny... I have to do this every day to some extent at my job and I guess I just can't outside of when the job requires... it takes some building up for me. But at work, no problem

I like the hilo lip type a lot for their unique contrasting color mix. I want to get one of those again. lol
Yours look like rather light pink, which I prefer over deep magenta pink colored ones.
Regarding your first pic, I couldn't really see exactly what the spike looks like, but it appears to me it is a growing spike, no?
If it is indeed spent spike, then you should let them know. If it is broken spike, then unfortunately, there's nothing can be done as online vendors have policies on that.
By the way, you make me itchy.
what do I want to buy now? hehehe

I'll get more pics up today. I love the reverse contrast of the Hilo lip line too. And technically mine is not a Hilo lip but it's parent is. But I find this hybrid to have better shape and color, or rather, an improvement on Hilo lip....just my opinion!
The Talin does have a spike, for sure....and I dug through the box to find if buds had been snapped off....nothing. The spike itself is strong and intact except that it's yellowing from the tip down, suggesting that the spike is spent.
Trust me I hate complaining. And if this thing even had a growing spike or even if the flowers were there but mangled I would be fine but a spent spike? Kinda lame.
As for the itch... Get more tolumnias!!!!!! Pease!!!! And send them to me I'll pm you my address. Lol. Orchids.com and hausermanns both have hybrids I want....some is called pumpkin or something like that and it's the most beautiful red/orange. But it's a little more pricey that what I'm used to paying for tolumnias. But I admit, I have to have it! Maybe after Christmas.
