It still has the colors of dusk...but what you managed to capture is the texture and shape of the flower that is unique to itself and gives it its own simple beauty...
you also presented it well in your photography

One thing you did capture was the great shape of that flower. I can tell that the colors are excellent also. To tell you the truth, the colors on some of those phals are hard to get right even with the best cameras. Good growing.

If it helps, I find taking photos of my plants through a filtered but bright light source yields the best photos over all. Think of creating an overcast day... That's the diffused light you want. They may not be what you wanted them to be but you still get the sense of the flower so well done.
