Default Phal I-Hsin Salmon 'Copper Star'

This is a sequential bloomer that I got from Schwerter back in January. It sulked a bit over the summer, these are the first blooms since May.

Really really cute, and as a bonus it's fragrant as well! It has a nice sweet smell. It's also growing a new nubbin now, but I'm not too sure if it's a spike or a basal keiki.

Absolutely beautiful! I have this same orchid and it's one of my favorite small phals.. It's a beautiful color and, like you said, it's fragrant also. I'm sure you already know not to cut off the spikes once it's finished blooming. It can rebloom on that same spike next year plus grow new spikes. I saw a picture of one online that had 5 or 6 spikes and maybe 20 flowers. It's a real winner. Enjoy!

Tucker- Me too it's one my favorites, but I wouldn't call it a small Phal. The spike is short, but the leaves are nearly a foot long!

Camille I keep looking at this one over and over. I have to ask, is it warm growing? Meaning, does it retain it's old spikes? I love those that do but a flower like this would be awesome with a huge splay of flowers. Those that retain their spikes need to reach great size and perhaps age before you get that same splay.

Temperature wise the grower I got it from lists it as intermediate to warm. As for the spikes being warm growing and retaining spikes, I'm not sure what you mean. I got it last January with a spike and 2 blooms, and since then it has been sequentially producing more, but only 1-2 buds at a time. It started a new spike 2 months ago, but it stalled.
