Thanks and yeah I love tapatalk. Makes taking photos with my phone and using them here super easy.
Mine does have a scent btw. Not very strong or even necessarily a pleasant one, but it does have a scent. I wouldn't call it unpleasant, though.

Mine was ultra faint, but I'm hopefully a higher light situation may draw out a bit more of the spicy scent.
Good luck with yours, and I also see you feel victim to a tetrapsis. I hope it has color to it as well, just remember their color can depend on lighting and temp. So if at first it doesnt have any, try moving it around a bit.

Right...and I guess time and good cultivation will tell if it does have color. I'm told that tetrapsis has a great scent, though. I like its form and I love scented phals so between those two I have high hopes and color will be a bonus.
As for this plant, I love the blended colors. It's fantastic in person and has a wonderful shape. I noticed mine has its strongest scent mid morning...right when the sun is flooding into the solarium and heating it up fast. The solarium gets down to 60 at night and the sun begins to hit it around 9 am but it's around 1030 that the temp climbs really fast...hitting 75 to 80. All of my scented phals smell the best then...love it!

Here is new bloom on Cupid Montclair. The color isn't exactly true as the photo but I love the shape. It's a small flower...maybe an inch and a quarter wide...

The color is a bit off in the picture, but I can see the same flower. It's really nice. Mine still has 1 bloom open on it. The rest have since faded. How many does yours have Ryan?

This is it's only bloom currently. I've had this plant for only a few months and while it arrived in full bloom, the spike has since been spent. This bloom you see in this most recent post is a reblooming off that old spike...he's all alone.. How sad.... But! I repotted the plant in sh and within a month it has sprouted new leaves and roots and a new spike. I imagine the spike is still a good month or two for opening up but what a surprise. The new leaves, I should mention, are heavily marked/spotted with purple spots, not unlike mottled foliage. The spots fade with time, but as a new and growing leaf, the look is striking!

The most current bloom on an existing spike. This plant has pushed a new spike, too, while putting on two new leaves and a flush of new roots...I'm impressed with it's vigor.
