Default Phal Schilleriana with spike

My Schilleriana spike is romping away like mad. It must be around three weeks old and almost a foot tall.

lol, yes, they are filling up the space as they grow which is fine by me since they're covering up the outside mess from all of the storms and tail ends of hurricanes this year! Will post lots of pics when they bloom.

What a beaut - this is the flower that first comes to mind when I think "orchid". It's so iconic. Please do post pics when she blooms.

I'm so jealous of that window! I would kill to have something like that in my house.

Well done.

LOL Thank you! There will be lots of pics - soon I hope! This is the first flowering for this plant so we'll see what we get.

Is this the usual time for your shillie to come into blossom? Mine is also spiking and it usually starts doing that in January.
Looks like you're going to have a nice long spike with lots of side branching. Good Job!

Welcome back Ph. D lady! Everything is growing beautifully thanks. Hope yours are too.

I don't know the season for Schills but I'll take it any time of year. I hope there's room in my window for the flowers lol.

Ha ha, thanks (12 days til submission!!) Everything's going ok, though some of my coelogyne have suffered this summer due to my focus on things other than orchids! Shall have some photos up here soon though once I'm organised - looking forward to you pics of this 'little' one when she's ready
