Default Yellow fragrant Phal

What would the parent of a yellow fragrant Phal be ? Would it be P.Venosa? There are no spots on the petals of the new NOID. I just can't stop buying NOIDS.

most likely it is from violacea it is the most common for hybridizing for the fragrance. the venosa actually has a unpleasant fragrance to it

So it would be Violacea var. alba? Interesting about venosa didn't know about the unpleasant fragrance. I just love the fragrant Phals so I have to avoid that one !!

or you could just get a cornu-cervi f. flava and have the real deal or simply a floresensis and not have the scent but a true yellow and cost about the same as a hybrid and all violaceas are fragrant not just the alba
