Bring your 'chid to work day!
Look who jumped in the car with me this morning! Come on, I needed some company while I plug away at the office. It's so crazy having this Phal next to me all day, the fragrance at times has made my eyes sting.

Stinging eyes doesn't sound like a good, what pray tell does it smell like? Are you sure your bulbophyllums haven't been fooling around behind your back?

LOL!!! I was going to say that! It looks like Kuntrarti Rarisharti (sp?), which is ( venosa x equestris). Or it could be something along those lines.

noID on this one. Best 10 bucks I've spent so far on an orchid. It bloomed for months and grew leaves and roots, and after the blooms fell off I repotted. Then it continued to bloom off the same spike. And the fragrance changes quite a bit depending on how old the blooms are, and what time of day it is. When the blooms are a week or less old the fragrance is mild and sweet, and as they progress the fragrance matures into something more robust, almost smells like dinner cooking (meat). And it's so little! What's not to love?!

Very nice work buddy! Me too, curious to know what it is. I also have a work buddy, my psychopsis 'Butterfly' lives on my desk. Think I'll be bringing more, keeps me in a good mood!

LOL! Definitely no Bulbos at my office. It does smell good, and it's not so much an outright stinging, but like I can smell the fragrance and feel it touching my eyes at the same time.
