a bellina gift
this was included in my order from dwayne and was a gift from gin. dwayne did not want to sell any of his bellinas because he said the blooms are not show quality. the sepals have a slight back sweep. i let him know that i grow only for my enjoyment and not to show. what is nice about dwayne is he will only sell a plant that he believes is in good shape your enjoyment from the plant is more important than the sale. wait till you see my tetraspsis he sent me that he did not want to sell due to some leaf damage from shipping. i could not believe it when i saw it. what is reaslly nice about the bellina other than the scent and color is they can continue to rebloom on the same infloresence on older plants so do not cut them off

Dennis, I have a violacea x bellina. Should I leave the spike? I'm not sure if it will bloom the same as bellina.

they say it works on the older plants. not knowing yours i would leave it and see what happens if it turns brown then go ahead and cut it off
