Never even looked at your 'mess'!!
I would recommend re-potting now. If you don't disturb it terribly it shouldn't hurt the flowers. Many Phals come potted with a wet tight ball of moss in the very centre that never dries out and causes root rot. So every single one I get, is taken out of the pot and inspected as soon as it comes home. sometimes I just remove the wet moss and slip it back into it.s pot, but in your case, it looks like it could use a slightly bigger pot or some re-arranging. The air roots won't be too happy if you put them in the pot so try to leave most of them out. It looks like some of them curving around the top of the soil could be airily potted and they should be OK.
