People on this forum are really good about responding and encouraging. Though if you have a more rare type of orchid (one that most people don't grow) then answers may be a bit slower.

I personally have to wonder if the sphag didn't help save what little you have left, absorbing whatever moisture it could from the air. Good to know your mix includes some sphag in it, that may be very wise.
