You could also try some KLN or SuperThrive to stimulate root growth.

Didn't know about the light level--thanks! I use Hormex, which is a lot like KLN. I think I'm going to put her/him in s/h and see what happens.

"Word History
Date of Origin 19th c.
Greek órkhis [όρχις orchis] meant ‘testicle’ (a sense preserved in English orchitis ‘inflammation of the testicles’ (18th c.)). The tuberous roots of the orchid supposedly resemble testicles (hence the old dialect name ballock’s-grass for various sorts of wild orchid), and so the plant was named órkhis. The Latin form orchis was taken by botanists of the 16th and 17th centuries as the basis for the plant’s scientific name (they smuggled an inauthentic d into it, under the mistaken impression that its stem form was orchid-), and it passed from there into English."

Back to the name.... could the tag be written wrong? Not very long ago there was Lenette orchids here in NC. They did a lot of Phal hybridizing. Had some really nice stuff. Just an idea.

That's what it says, Phal. Linnet. There are some numbers and letters on the tag as well. Does that help?
