That's an interesting way to grow them. I would like to start moving my Phals into a hanging situation except they are in bark which tumbles out of the pot if I tip it! What are yours potted in that you can do this, may I ask?

Nice Sue,
Mine is very similar to yours, it's towards the end of the blooming cycle, but it keeps shooting a flower or 2 off the end of the spike, should I let it keep doing this, or should I cut the spike and let the plant rest? There is a new leaf coming up as well. What would you all suggest?

These plants not only send out blooms but also keikis. Don't cut the spike unless it turns brown and you know it's dead, for sure

I, too, really like the way you have this hanging. It looks so very happy! What did you use to wrap around the outside to hold the sphag together?
