I'm the first to say my growing conditions don't or wouldn't suit Phallies. Maybe I have to rethink this thought.

1st pic is a plant I deflasked 20/11/2010. I repotted it from a 50mm pot today into a 65mm pot & found a spike !!!!

2nd & 3rd pics are of Phal. Sogo Vivien in a 60mm pot, 4th pic is Phal. Ho's Little Caroline in a 60mm pot.
They are growing in 3 parts coarse perlite & 1 part composted small pine bark.

Thanks. I'm potting in 3 parts coarse perlite & 1 part small composed bark.

The light in the house is more intense than what 'm used to by way of genuine Phalaenopsis growers. I've had a rethink on this and see the benefits of the light. The problem is that the plants ( even though they are by breeding ) dwarf & harden up too quickly, thus small spike & low flower counts.
