Thank you, each and everyone of you...I will take everyone's advice and be happy that my NOID had two beautiful spikes with lovely blooms, that pic was of the last flower which had fallen..... But I will now look to acquire true species from breeders for my next ones...but of course still grab the NOIDs from Lowes..especially each one for $1.00, out of bloom!!! I still can't get over that! I picked up four at the same time..couldn't resist. But I believe my next 'chid may be a Phal. schilleriana. I love the mottled leaves...

In a world of NOIDs,perfectionism is frustrating. I tell myself that orchids that you love for beauty or scent,don't really need a name. I just number them NOID #1,NOID #2,etc. Each one has it's own 3 X 5 card with my description and history of it.
