Phal equestris and Phal Pink Panther
Here is one of my Phal equestris in bloom. I got it as a keiki from Ramon a few years ago and it has grown very nicely.
And while I was at it I took a pic of my Phal Pink Panther. (a trade name, no clue what it's official RHS name is). This phal has been in continuous bloom for 2.5 years. Keeps extending spikes and growing new spikes which do the same. Currently has 4 spikes, and a little keiki.

Just so you know, your keiki is starting its very first root! This has got to be the slowest growing keiki I've had.

Some seem like that. I'm finally getting some growth from the Den Startdust keiki that you can have if it ever get's established. That seems to be a slow one as well!

Mine is a standard equestris I think (though I'd have to double check with Ramon). But there exist many many types of this species. I have another one called Phal equestris 'dark', and it's a solid pink, but the petals are more rounded than the standard species. Phal equestris 'dark'
As to the size of this one, I got it in '08 as a little keiki with leaves only 3in long. Now they're 7in. Flower count on this one is 8-9 buds right now. Each time it spikes it has a bit more, the first time it only had 3-4. My 'dark' is roughly the same age but produces at least 15. They keep about 2/3 of them in the beginning, then the count goes down.

Rosie has dibs on it. I've been looking for another plant, but they're tough to find. The commercial grower refused to give me any info on its parentage, so it's real name (if it was ever registered) is still a mystery. Think I may try some stem prop with it, most of the nodes on each spike are waking up.
