Default Phal. Be Tris 'Zuma Nova'

Not my usual but I do have a couple Phals. This is an equestris hybrid:

I believe this was purchased from Orchids, Ltd., some years ago.

Does anyone know whether this is the awarded clone or not? The tag says 'Zuma Nova' #2 - there's an HCC given to Zuma Nova, but perhaps the #2 indicates tha this is a different clone.

It's gorgeous Ron!

I had a NoID with similar colour/shape/size flowers but it didn't survive long (had root rot when bought).

I'm afraid I can't help with whether yours is an awarded clone. Really like it though.

Thanks, Rosie. I like having a few plants around like this that can be kept where everyone can see them when they're in flower.

Yes, I know what you mean. My Masdie veitchianna has had four flowers for a couple of months now and it's a shame I can't bring it into the house to enjoy (although the spikes are so long and 'rambling' it would be difficult to place even if the temps and humidity were not a problem.

I do grow a lot of Phals and Den Phals in the house and there is usually something in flower to show
