this phal has been growing in one the self watering pots you've seen. I feel they are novelties, but I will say If you fill them up only enough to keep the bottom of the inside container moist it gravitates to the whole plant. They actually do work quite well for those who have a tendency to over-water a phal. The roots are nice and green and the plants overall health is just remarkable for an old phal killer like me

Ill post again when all the buds are all open. I want to get a few more of these for next years shows and mass plant them. These little plants are only like 8- 10 bucks each. Such a bargain!!! Ill take a bakers dozen!!!
