My 'Splash' has bit the dust already! Thankfully, Schwerter are replacing it with my next order. Mine lost two leaves and the on remaining one is going limp and wrinkly. My uneasy feeling about this particular plant seems to be well founded. Damn!

Oh no!! You could try getting rid of the spike (if that's what it is in the pic) and that might help it save some energy.....

Yep, I just cut it off to see if that helps. I have no idea what went wrong with this one and it's a pity that it's about to heave off. Oh well.

I'd vote roots. Have you taken it out to see if any are healthy. Since they are replacing it, now is the time to experiment to keep it alive. Hopefully you'll have a good root or 2.

My Guess was right. Dang, that doesn't look good at all. Time for ICU. Are either of those longer roots still firm at all? Looks like it might have stayed too wet for too long. Take a look around the OB and find some good sphag/bag setups. Good Luck, hopefully the new one will be better, and you can save this guy.

From experience in the past this ones goose is cooked. That remaining leaf is going to go yellow in the next two days and that will be that. Pity.

Hmm, it looks like the root on the top might still have something going for it (but, who can tell from a picture!) The little one I have in ICU/ A&E (which was given to me by a friend to revive) I let the few remaining roots dry out and I now dunk it periodically during the day. So far it's holding up and I don't think I'll need to delve into the realms rooting hormone, but, if you feel you've got nothing to lose, that could be an option for you....
