Some new aquisitions! Male
Default Some new aquisitions!

Here is a new Phal. I just got yesterday at our OS from a visiting vendor! I do not have its' ID yet, but I have sent the nursery a picture and they will get me an ID!

As you can see, the flowers open more red, then fade to the SUPER complex colors you see on the middle flower! I LOVE IT!
I have actually put two pollina from this plant on my Penang Girl.

This picture is way better quality than the first ones because I borrowed a friends DSLR camera, which is WAY better than my point-and-shoot!

I also got a free seedling for renewing my membership early! It is Phal. (Leucadia Farewell x ATL Crossing) Both of these parents were breed and raised by a member of our OS, and this is also his cross.

Very Nice!
I have a phal noid very similar to yours which changes its flowers colouring as it matures.
I especially love the shape of the bellina!
Very good photos too!.Thanks for sharing and I look forward to hearing more about your experiment.

I love both phals as well... but it would be great if you ever find an ID on the red one
I bought one last year, that I just Love, plus it is a tad fragrant [nice little bit of sweetness] Does your red phal have any scent? Its a Beauty regardless.
