new phal followed me home

this little guy followed me home. The flower is bright yellow like a daffodil...looks pretty happy too.

I just LOVE yellows and reds. I'm still on the hunt for a nice yellow phal. The one I really wanted had a lime scent and was not for sale (stud plant)....I'll just have to keep looking for it.

so its just past 3 years later that cute little phal has become a little monster, but blooming like crazy! what does everyone do with their phals when they get this big? its currently got two new spikes coming in which make i think make 4 and 5 this season....I did just move it out of the terrarium it was in due to the excessive root growth, i had to cut it out of about 4 other pots...
