Default Flask arrived

My first flask arrived this morning, Phal. Hilo Lip 'Catnip', and my heart rate leapt! lol There are three seedlings in there with one inch roots on them so I suppose I should start the process of acclimatising them to the big bad world. I set up my parrot brooder to keep the temps and humidity more suited to them. This way I can control what goes on.

I also got my Phal. Golden Emperor 'Sweet' FCC/AOS. I'm very much excited about seeing the very first spike growing but I'm not looking forward to the impatience I will definitely have before the first blooms open. I should really stop doing this self administered punishment. I wonder what Freud would say? LOL

Cool that you're venturing into the world of flasks! Any pics of your new babies?
I'd have to look it up in my notes, but I know of a good UK grower who sells flasks of some really nice Phals If your interested of course.

Here they are. You will see a tiny keiki in the pics - there are two of them so if they all live I'll have got five babies in total. I hope this works! lol

I'm VERY excited. I've never done this before but it could start up a new trend.

I don't know how you 'flask people' can do it, so much patience! It's been bad enough with my phal's keiki

Good luck
