I bought this plant from Hausermann's a while ago as a seedling-- though I think they sold it as a mature plant... anyway, it is the first time blooming for me, and I think, ever.

It has lovely color and I really enjoy the picotee yellow about the edges. It has a scent though I find it difficult to describe-- it's pleasant either way.

Thanks all. I hope her shape improves with the next blooms. She still has what I call the awkward adolescence of an orchid. The second blooming is always better for me. Her two petals flare back dramatically, making them look too small for the rest of the flower when in reality she's really well proportioned.

Very nice! The colour, the form. It looks like it should become a symbol for something/someone.
