P. Tzu Chiang Chrisna 'Fuller'
I love this plant! It's a very strong grower and is beautiful in or out of bloom. This plant was sent to the wrong state when I ordered it. FedEx messed up big time. It had freeze damage and it lost all of its blooms-- however, it kept its spike. My solarium seems to be the perfect spot for it, so it pushed more blooms and this is what they look like. They have a nice, mild sweet smell like vanilla.

Nice pic, Ryan. I have this clone too and I have never bloomed it with any markings at all. Always pure white. I kind of like the markings. Are you growing it in deep shade? Could it be a different clone?

huh...you know I didn't even notice that the photo on the vendor site shows a pure-white bloom. I love that mine has spots on it-- gives it a little special flare.
As for conditions, no, it is in rather high light for phals. Since it has the characteristics of a warm-growing phal, I made an assumption and am growing her in higher-than-normal light with the rest of my warm-growers (phal ember, bellina etc).
Where did you get your plant? Is your's specifically 'Fuller'? I'm not sure what would cause the spots to show up versus not... and now that I recall, I don't think mine had spots on the blasted blooms when I first got it though by then they were not doing well at all and could have faded enough to have the spots disappear.
I hope to clone this plant myself through keikis...I'm getting the keiki paste out soon!

I got mine from Norman's, it came labeled as 'Fuller' AM/AOS.

yep...same here. Interesting mine has spots. I was expecting a pure white, too-- but have to say the spots are an added bonus.

Ryan, yours reminds me of vanilla ice cream made with really vanilla beans. And we all know how good vanilla ice cream is made that way.
The spots are very nice addition.

I think you got the wrong plant.
Tzu Chang Chrisnas are pure white. One of my favorite cultivars.

Ben that's not what I wanted to hear. Any idea of its name then? What a bummer. I doubt the vendor will send a new plant, either. Chrisna is supposed to be scented too, and this one, sadly, is not. I still love it all the same, though!
