Spring is Here!! Male
Default Spring is Here!!

Haven't had the camera out in awhile. Growing under lights is not easy. My plants stay drier, and I don't always get nice blooms. These aren't bad though.

Phal (Allspice x Corning's Violet) 'KS'
- Still haven't stemmed it. Sorry to whomever asked about it last time I posted it

Jade Gold (th11)
- This was from one of Peter Lin's Taiwan imports. I have two. This flower has been open awhile, and the form has been better. Its been too cold to get a picture. This plant is in a 3.25" pot, looks terrible, has long scraggly leaves, and stays too dry. The one I have in the 5" pot with big fat lush green leaves has yet to bloom. Go figure.

Joy Dreamy Jade 'Fuzzy'
- This is a select plant from Big Leaf Orchids. So far it has preferred to make basal keikis rather than bloom, but I finally have a few spikes and now a bloom.

John Ewing 'Gosh' AM/AOS
- This plant was near death when I got it, and now is in a 6" pot with roots busting out everywhere. I can't ever get it to look like the picture on Big Leaf.

Paifang's Ambotratea
- I almost killed this plant last summer when I burned it. This spring it wants to kill itself with too many blooms. I think this one is blooming so well because they way I've treated probably makes it think its soon to die.

- this flower is a little older than the one above, so its not as dark

Princess Kaiulani 'Rainbow'
- Nice color. This flower is still opening, but I don't see me getting the camera out again for awhile. Form will probably be better in a couple days.

Oh they are just gorgeous! All of them! But my favorite is Joy Dreamy Jade 'Fuzzy'. Do you have a photo of the entire plant with all its basal keikis?

Beautiful as always, Ben. Really like the Paifang's Ambotratea and the Phal (Allspice x Corning's Violet) 'KS'.
