Default Phalaenopsis Millie's Brown Bacon (braceana X venosa)

Here is Phalaenopsis Millie's Brown Bacon, which is a primary hybrid of braceana X venosa. This primary was only just registered back in September 2010. It apparently should have a scent that is similar to bacon. I cannot detect a scent at this time, but maybe within a few days.

First and second pictures are of Millie's Brown Bacon, and the 3rd picture is Millie's Brown Bacon and braceana

I really love this one, psyc. It was in the latest issue of the IPA Journal. Such a beautiful chocolate brown color. Great growing and photos.

Let us know if you smell bacon.

I had to click on this one after reading the title, "bacon" is not a name one usually associates with orchids! It is an interesting flower--I quite like it. Let us know if you ever do detect a delicious bacon-y aroma!

Those pictures are sizzling! The color and shape are superb. Are these readily available in the US?
