I posted a photograph of the plant on my gallery. The flower stalk is just under a foot high, and the diameter of each flower is just under 2.5 inches.

I would think a Mini Mark 'Holme' to be a mini .. the size of the flower is under an inch. (Tindo - correct me on that) If I remember correctly by the AOS (?) that minis are considered to have a leaf span (length) of 6 inches or less. If anyone finds this inaccurate, please correct me.
Thanks

Here is a picture of the whole plant with 1 foot ruler with it. The flowers are a little less than 2.5 inches in diameter. As to its being a mini,I'm no expert.I was just going by the description of one of the growers on the Internet. It certainly is far smaller than my other Phals.

If they would consider phals compact .. I would put it under that category .. I, myself have 2 smaller yellow phals .. they are prolific bloomers and hardy orchids

Dorothy,I'm willing to consider it as a compact. It's a dandy plant in any case. What true minis do you have that are reliant bloomers? I might find a bit of space for one like that. I like Phals for their variety and length of bloom.

Some species Phals are minis .. I have a species Phal Lueddemanniana and am excited to see it bloom as it is in spike! I would consider it compact more than mini. I have a NOID yellow phal and a Phal Tai Pei Gold x Cassandra #2, again I would consider compacts. The Noids spikes are no taller than 9 and 11 inches ( it's a double spiker).
I believe the term 'mini' is used by those selling orchids to distinguish the flower size but not the plant size. Mini, on more technical terms is determined by the size of the plant itself. I have yet to get a mini phal as they need a bit more humidity than I can provide at this time but I have been eyeing a Phal modesta 'coerulea' at the site below.
Phalaenopsis Catalog
Another example is phal lobbii at this post
http://www.orchidboard.com/community...is-lobbii.html
and this one
http://www.orchidboard.com/community...is-lobbii.html
and if you scroll down the site below to phal gibbosa and phal parishii, you will see additional mini phals
Petite Plaisance - Orchid Species, Phalaenopsis parishii v. lobbii, Phaius tankervilliae, Phymatidium tillansioides, Pleurothallis restrepioides, Pleurothallis shiedei, Pescatorea cerina, Pescatorea dayana, Phragmipedium, Pescatorea wallisii
