Phal. Tying Shin Cupid 'Montclair'
It's supposed to be fragrant, but it doesn't seem to be. I guess I need to keep checking at different times of day.

Love it!!! The colors are beautiful and it makes a really nice art shade. Did the buds just open? If so, sometimes it takes a few days before they'll be fragrant. If they've been open a while, like you said, check a few times a day. If all else fails, I find putting them in the sun, like through a window or similar for a bit will coax their fragrance out.
I have a similar one... but named Tying Shin Smart. Your's is WAY cooler. Shin Smart has a light fragrance mid day.

Thanks everyone, for your kind words. And, Ryan, not to be an enabler, but I see that this is on sale over at Norman's. You can collect your commission on your Ember.

Have you seen their Tying Shin Eros??? Similar in color to yours but it has equestris in it-- looks like a very small plant. I really am liking these art shades.

No, Ryan, I haven't. Freaking enabler...
Edited to add: oh yes, I had seen it before. But thanks to you, Ryan, when I did a search on "Tying Shin" I found several I hadn't...

Ryan, I took your advice and have been checking this for scent a few times a day. Today I finally got its scent. Very subtle, but very nice.
