I did. The one I kept alive is the one i traded and I regret it. I love this plant because even out of bloom the leaves are gorgeous.

I think it's a solid purple standard. If I recall it's a very large plant. Has it not spiked for you?

It spiked in the fall but stopped growing, probably because I moved it to another location. It spiked again about a month ago and it is about 8 inches tall. Its grown 2 new leaves and loves full morning sun.

The plant is slow to open her blooms but the flip slide of the coin is that the blooms last for a really long time.
