3 gallon pot? That Ember IS a monster! Can't wait to see it bloom, Pilot.
I know it's bringing out the big guns, but I hear Safari is great to get rid of mealy bugs. Perhaps when the weather gets better, you can spray outside.

Safari is a serious pesticide. I don't know if you want to have it around your little ones, but your plants are in the basement now, right, not the sunroom?

Correct. The mealy bugs came in on some plants from a local establishment. Not too happy with them. I don't have many plants compared to many here but I was pest free until two oncidiums came in with bugs in their buds...I didn't know about them until the buds bloomed!
Also in my basement right now are five peeps. Lol it's like an island jungle down there win the humidifiers going full tilt and the fans gently wafting warm breezes with chickens peeping away. Lol the peeps are inside until it warms up and they feather out.

My Ember is in bloom again after a rough year and a light and watering system failure. So glad she's showing off again! The scent is divine. I wish my Neofinetia bounced back like this plant did. I traded my other plant away a few months ago and now I wish I hadn't.
He's she is! Btw she is now one of my largest plants at a lead length of 14", making a 28 inch spread!

These seemed to hit the market and then disappeared quickly a few years ago. This was given to me by a friend when my daughter was born and I've never seen them since. Sorry
