Its hard to be certain-- more pics at different angles would help. Because of the number of hybrids out there, you can never be too sure. Does yours have a scent-- sweet and tropical like (not like a rose or sugary scent but a clean scent).

Well i don't know if this other pic will help coz this year's flowers are a little bit deformed on the upper half and the actual colour is a lot more purple than pink, however it has a really nice, not rose-like scent.

Oh and almost forgot, the italian gardener i bought it from wrote a tag with the name called coral-harbor harabella but i could find no such thing like this on the internet....

So i don't know what to think besides that it's gorgeous.

It has a striking similarity and look to Ember for sure. Did it come without a tag? I can see the spots in the petals and sepals, as well, which Ember has-- they aren't very apparent if just glancing at it, but if you examine closely, the flower is heavily spotted.

My phal ember was/is never pink-- always a purple/magenta color. It looks quite healthy under your care!

It's definatelly spotted all over the flower. So i guess at least it's a close relative to ember.

Thanks for your help and quick response. Btw i never thought i would see its flower so soon again coz i bought it last november, it had no roots at all... i mounted it quickly, placed it in the florarium and now it's growing the fourth bud on the stem. A really grateful little plant

They can be very strong plants, thats for sure. I had one lose its roots, too, but it took me a year+ to get it back on track to growing well again. Thankfully, it is spiking right now with my other, larger one. Their scent is really incredible!

Dtps. Coral Harbor is a big pink/lavender with dark striping and a red lip. I couldn't find anything named Harabella.

And she's off again, blooming on all three of her old spikes. I'm hoping new spikes will emerge soon. My solarium is hitting the 65 mark consistently every night and hitting the 70s every day. I have a few standard phals pushing spikes already, but my warm growers tend to be a bit more cautious.

I have been slowly converting, as funds allow, all of my orchids that were growing in plastic s/h pots to glass pots in which I carefully use a diamond bit to drills holes for proper s/h drainage.

I came across a large container-- again glass-- at TJ Max Home Goods-- for those not familiar with the store-- it's just like any other closeout store in the US, except it deals exclusively with household goods-- rugs, sheets, kitchen items etc.

The container has a capacity of over 3 gallons and I knew instantly which plant would enjoy this roomy pot.

This is one of two Phal Embers I have and the other, much smaller salvaged plant is also doing really well in its new glass pot.

But here is the monster of my collection which is currently putting forth a new spike-- it's also battling mealy bugs

But I'm treating it and the other orchids as often as I can.

Its been in its new home for about two months now-- pushing new roots and branching new ones-- and since then it began a new spike so the move has been quite agreeable.
