I found this picture online, but it only says Rainbow Orchid. I would love to get one like this. Does anyone have any clue of a name of this or one just like it? Thanks!! Google Image Result for http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4026/4367772346_618b8085ce.jpg

Reminds me of my Sogo Lawrence... brilliant yellows/golds that melt into the center of reds purples with that bright glowing center. Its a thick-petaled flower-- waxy in texture, ergo, long-lasting.

Unfortuantely as with all untagged Phalaenopsis orchids you can never know for sure what it is. Even if it looks identical to something else it could be something different.

We had a discussion here about the whole issue of most NoID's never being able to have an exact name.

What I like to do is find something similar then give it a name almost, but not quite the same, with a note on the tag to say it's actually a NoID.

NoID's are just as pretty as those with names and as long as you know enough to care for it that's all you need. This one will have pretty standard Phalaenopsis care, so no need to worry about an exact name.

Phalguy... I think yours looks just like Brother Sara Gold. I almost got that one, but then I changed my order to the Sogo Lawrence! It is a really pretty flower!
