Hello all,
I just got a beauty and I want to do the right thing before getting the wrong thing...

I have had it for a week, it's beautiful, but one of the buds, a smaller one is turning yellow and shrivelling. Any thoughts?
The other larger green buds look quite healthy.

A, the picture is too small to tell anything. However, it's not uncommon for newly purchased orchids of any kind to experience "bud blast" when moved to their new environment. It's usually cause by a sudden change in the environment it's used to. Lower humidity, cooler, less light etc. After awhile it will adjust itself to your home and be just fine.

Dennis I have always like this hybrid and plan to look for it at our local orchid show this weekend. Nice growing!
