I have it potted in plain bark, which works well for most of my phals. Needs to be repotted this spring, it's outgrown the current 4 inch pot. Just wish it would grow some more leaves, it doesn't seem to like hanging on to more than 2 at once.

I seem to have the same issue with my both my schilleriana and stuartiana, I thought maybe they didn't like me because I didn't have them mounted and planted in sphag moss, glad to know I'm not the only one with the problem. I have a schilleriana in spike right now, for it's first time, the spike grew all funky and tried growing into the root system and plant into the pot. Maybe next time I'll get to enjoy some blooms! Thanks for sharing pictures!
