I have a question. These plants are packed very tight with spag. I have no problem using spag. Watering one of them was so tight that when I watered it took a minute or two to drain. I had to turn it upside down to get the water out. The others take way to long.
On the other hand these are beautiful plants with fantastic roots. Obviously they are doing something correct. What are your feelings about leaving these guys in their present state?
I have already repotted the one that took forever to drain. I just couldn't live with it the way it was!

I would suggest very carefully repotting them. They may not have problems that are immediately seen to the eye, but if you dig into the medium they might (or they might develop problems). Just my few cents worth.

I repotted the P. Tying Shin Cupid 'Maria Teresa' and it was so tight that it took me 45 minutes to get it all cleared away. The weird thing about it, was that, every root was in perfect shape, perfect. Not one questionable let alone bad root to be found. It, somewhat, confused me. Not that I am not confused most of the time. Do not get me wrong, I am not complaining about the great roots!

Better start preparing your sister-In -law and wife for your birthday. If this keeps up you will have one heck of a collection soon!   P.S.; I just saw your photos of your orchids from October of this year, and gee you already have quite a collection. I like your choice of species and hybrids. Lots of color and different forms.
