pretty! I have a NoID that looks very similar to that, i got it in bloom last christmas, and it is in bud ATM
they are pesky arent they? they just jump out at you!

And here I thought that I had come up with that quote myself. I gave it as a piece of advice to be included for a newly wed couple once and came up with it off the top of my head. Huh, go figure.

I love those pesky orchids that jump out at you! A Brassia did that to me last week, no matter how hard I tried it refused to go back on the table with the others. To make matters worse, it then insisted to have one of its friends tag along!

I even had my MIL with me and she didn't stop me so I must be winning her over. Somehow he got named George on the way home. He also has a second spike that is about half grown so there will hopefully be future flowers as well.
