Default Doritaenopsis Yu Pin Lady 'Sweetheart'

This was shot at a recent orchid show and was an attempt to use a rack behind the plant as part of the photo. Not really sure that this worked, but the idea was to contrast the severe lines of the rack with the softer lines of the flowers.

Your use of selective focus with a lower f-stop really worked, Ron. You've made the rack look more like a window. Lovely photo.

i like the background very much. the composition and lighting are good as well. although, on the right side, there is a blossom going out of the page, casing a large merger. other than that i like it. i do understand that in a situation as this, sometimes you cant control it. overall, i like it!
