It could almost be mistaken for an epidendrum also!
I would have never taken it for a phal!

Another proof of this is a vandaceous orchid( Phal. Strobartiana) lies in fact that there is a inward twist of the lower tepals due to the tension caused by their rear conjoining to form the spur.

Well Gin, leave it to you to have a Phal species I never heard of....you must have done some digging to find it. It certainly is very UN-Phal looking. Thanks for sharing the pic!

I love species Phals . when I see one I don't have I buy it unless it is a lot of $$$ all of mine were seedlings to start with . Still quite a few I don't have Thanks for the kind words Gin

Gin, does that mean you have a Phal jungle in your greenhouse? Thats a lot of Phals to collect It would be cool to see a list of your collection
