Default Phal Sally Taylor unregistered hybrid

Here's a first bloom unregistered hybrid.

Phalaenopsis Sally Taylor x (Sally Taylor x Carmela's Brite Lites)

Acquired from Carmela's Orchids of Hawaii

Color isn't quite true. It's actually a very dark red, which is hard to capture given the limits of the camera as well as the photographer.

Regards,
Rick

Beauty!

How does a hybrid become registered?
How does the value change once a hybrid becomes registered? or does it?

A hybrid becomes registered by filing paperwork with the Royal Horticultural Society. Thus, every offspring of the same two parents has the same name
